초록

본 연구는 북한에서 당원을 지낸 북한이탈주민들의 주체사상 매몰과 해체에 대한 연구이다. 연구에는 9명의 당원 출신 북한이탈주민들이 참여했다. 자료는 일대일 심층 면담을 수행하여 구성했다. 자료 분석은 Stake(2010)가 제시한 패턴 매칭으로 수행했다. 자료 분석 결과 24개의 주제가 도출되었다. 이를 7개의 주제로 결집했다. 결집된 주제는 신념의 토대, 권력 획득의 수단, 사상의 꼭두각시, 경계에서의 비판적 사고, 선군정치의 허구, 사상의 미망에서 탈출, 자유와 경쟁의 가치 인식으로 나타났다. 연구 결과에 근거하여 주체사상의 사회적 성공수단, 선군정치의 허구, 개인의 자유와 권리의 가치에 대한 논의를 했고 북한이탈주민들의 주체사상 해체와 자유인으로서의 정체성 재구성을 위한 제언을 했다.

This study is about the burying and dismantling of the Juche ideology of North Korean defectors who served as party members in North Korea.. Nine former party members participated in the study. The data were constructed by conducting one-on-one in-depth interviews. Data analysis was performed by pattern matching method presented by Stake (2010). As a result of data analysis, 24 themes were derived. It has been grouped into seven themes. Grouped themes emerged as the foundation of belief, the means of of gaining power, the puppet of ideology, critical thinking at the boundary, the fiction of military-first politics, escape from delusion of thought, and the recognition of the values of freedom and competition. Based on the results of the study, researchers discussed the means of social success of the Juche ideology, the fiction of the military-first politics, and the value of individual freedom and rights and made suggestions for the dissolution of North Korean defector’s self-reliance ideology and reorganization of their identity as freemen.
