초록

본 연구는 북한이탈 여성들의 탈북 후 중국에서의 삶과 남한에서의 삶을 다룬 사례연구이다. 연구에서는 북한이탈 여성들이 자신의 가치와 고유의 정체성을 잃어버리고 사상의 종속물이 된 구체적 내용과 원인들을 분석했다. 동시에 중국과 한국 사회에서 어떻게 억압적인 사상을 해체하고 자유인으로서의 정체성을 재구성했는지의 과정과 내용을 분석했다. 연구는 사례연구로 접근했다. 자료는 참여자들과 일대일 심층 면담을 수행하여 구성했다. 연구자들은 Stake(2009)가 제시한 주제 결집 방법으로 자료를 분석하여 주체를 구성했고 이를 통합하여 주제 결집을 제시했다. 주제 결집은 여성 해방의 복음의 이면 속에 숨은 압제, 평등이 사라진 사회주의 국가, 국민을 외면하는 국가, 여성은 소모품이자 도구적 존재, 기아를 면한 후에 냉철한 비판, 인본주의의 탈을 쓴 주체사상의 유령, 비판과 선택의 자유의 가치로 나타났다. 연구 결과에 근거하여 북한이탈 여성들의 자기 회복과 남한 사회 적응을 위한 논의를 했고 구체적 제언을 했다.

This study is a case study of North Korean refugee women's lives in China and South Korea after defecting from North Korea. In this study, the specific contents and causes of North Korean refugee women losing their values and their own identity and becoming ideological subordinates were analyzed. At the same time, I analyzed the process and contents of how to dismantle oppressive ideas and reconstruct the identity as a free person in Chinese and Korean societies. The study was approached as a case study. Data were compiled through one-on-one in-depth interviews with the participants. Researchers analyzed data using the thematic aggregation method suggested by Stake (2009) to construct a subject, and presented a thematic aggregation by integrating them. The theme of unity is the hidden oppression behind the gospel of women's liberation., Socialist countries where equality has disappeared, A country that ignores its people, Women are expendable and instrumental beings, Cold criticism after avoiding starvation, The ghost of Juche ideology wearing the mask of humanism, It appeared as the value of criticism and freedom of choice. Based on the results of the study, discussions were made on self-recovery of North Korean refugee women and adaptation to South Korean society, and specific suggestions were made.
